It's Saturday!! I'm kinda bummed today because James had to go into work to finish a project. I don't like Saturday's when he has to go in. It happens very rarely however I enjoy my weekends spending time with him since we are so busy during the week. I miss him!! I'm making his favorite cookies, snicker doodles for when he gets home though! :) Friday night was fun. We had some friends over and played games and had a good time. I took Toby for a walk yesterday as the sun was setting and sometimes I forget how beautiful things are. I get so busy I don't take time to stop and "look around." The sun was just getting ready to set and it was bright orange and the palm trees were right in front of it and they were so pretty. I love the Florida sunsets. You don't have to even be at the beach, just outside of our house. The sun after it goes down leaves an orange glow in the sky and the palm trees were dark and it looked just like a postcard. It was so pretty!! Toby was funny last night too. I went to go to bed and he was laying in between my legs while I was ready and I told him to move so I could lay down. He, by the way, does not like to be bothered when he is sleepy or sleeping. He ignored me and then I told him to move again and he looked at me sighed really loud and got down into his bed (which he doesn't sleep in, he sleeps in ours every night) and didn't get back in bed with us at all last night. I even got up in the middle of the night and put his blanket over him and he got up and shook it off of him and went back to sleep. HE WAS MAD!!! He does have an attitude sometimes :)

It has been so long since I have been on here. It seems like during the week I just don't have time and on my days off I have a million other things to do. It is hard keeping up with my blog, email, and facebook :)!! Also, I have the challenge of not feeling like I have anything important to say. Since we got home from Christmas we really haven't done anything exciting. We have been hanging out with friends on Friday nights doing dinner and games. We have made some really great friends here in Florida and are very thankful for them, the fun times we have together and that they are part of our lives. I got the Twilight books for Christmas and have not been able to put them down. I have already read the first three since we have been home and started the fouth one last night. I LOVE THEM!!! I don't know what I'm going to do when I'm done. I have been running. This week it has been COLD......well in the 50's during the day but COLD for here. I know no one seems to feel too sorry for me. So, I didn't run yesterday because I was freezing. Tomorrow it is supposed to be up in the 60's again and then 70's this weekend so back to running. That is really it. I know nothing exciting but that is what I have been up to. Maybe next time I will have something more exciting to talk about :)

Happy New Year!!
Our new year was pretty average but it was fun hanging out with each other. We went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant, went to WalMart to get sparkling juice, came home and I played with my Cricut machine I got for Christmas (it is used for scrapbooking, cards, etc. It cuts out words, pictures, everything for you.) Then James and I went to get dessert at Sonic. After that we played games and drank our juice and went to bed at 12:09. Kinda lame but James had to work so he was tired and I can always sleep. So this morning we are going to do some projects around the house and maybe head to the beach to walk around and read our books. I got the Twilight series for Christmas and I'm already halfway through the first one and I can't put it down :)
We had a great time at Christmas this year. All of my family was home with Jason's new wife Amanda and Matt's girlfriend Holly. We don't all get together often so it was a lot of fun. We went out to dinner, played Wii (thanks Amanda for bringing it), we drove around on Christmas Eve to look at lights, went to a 11:00 Christmas Eve candlelight service, we played games, and ate WAY too much. My dad's side of the family on Sunday evening had a reunion also. They had a catered dinner that was really nice and for the first time they had a photographer come to take a group picture and individual family pictures. So, it was really nice. I enjoyed spending time with everyone. We had a great time with James' parents also. His mom cooked a great Christmas Eve dinner and we played cards. We had a big Christmas dinner on Christmas day with his family which there were over 30 people there. It was nice to see everyone. His sister Janice had everyone over on Saturday to watch the WV play in the bowl game. So, we had lot's of good food there too. It was great to see everyone. We didn't want to come home. It was really nice to get to spend time with family. Our trip home was not so great it took us over 16 hours to get home due to traffic, we we were exhausted and Toby was ready to get out of the car. He did really good though. I love Christmas time. James and I are kinda sad it is over but we have lot's of wonderful memories from this year. It was probably one of the best Christmases we've had.
